of the park and ride lot. We have received complaints
regarding vehicles that are parked along the entrance
road to Sheetz. Both lanes of that entrance must remain
open at all times to safely allow for deliveries and
traffic to and from Sheetz. Please note that vehicles
parked in this roadway are not parked on property that
is leased to Westmoreland Transit and may be ticketed or

The Westmoreland County Transit Authority has been responsible for providing public bus service in Westmoreland County since 1978.
Fixed-route transit services
are provided by private transportation companies under
contract with Westmoreland Transit. This means that
Westmoreland Transit purchases and owns the buses and sets
the routes and fares, but it must contract with private bus
companies to employ the drivers, maintain the fleet and
operate the bus service.
Westmoreland Transit operates
a total of 17 weekday routes and 6 Saturday routes.
There is currently no service on Sunday. Westmoreland
Transit does not operate on the following holidays: New
Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
The Westmoreland County Transit Authority grants equal
access to it programs and services to all citizens.
