What is a Park & Ride?
A Park & Ride is a place riders can park their vehicles at before boarding the bus.
The best part- they're completely free to our riders!
Westmoreland Transit offers Park & Rides at the following locations:
- Arnold Palmer Airport
The WCTA Park & Ride spaces are located near the bus shelter. The bus services the bus shelter and the front entrance of the airport.
- Carpenter Lane (unavailable March 16, 2020 - November 2020 during renovation)
The WCTA Park & Ride lot is located behind Sheetz at Carpenter Lane.
- Former Kmart Store TEMPORARY (available March 16, 2020 - November 2020)
The WCTA bus stop will be in front of the Kmart store entrance.
- Countryside Plaza
The WCTA Park & Ride spaces are located on the side of County Market.
- Five Star Trail
The WCTA Park & Ride spaces are located along Highland Avenue marked with WCTA signs.
- Living Waters Church
The WCTA Park & Ride spaces are located on the side of the church. The bus stays on Pennsylvania Avenue and does not enter the parking lot.
- New Stanton
The bus stays on Bair Boulevard and does not enter the parking lot.
- Trinity United Church of Christ
The bus does not pull into the lot, the stop is at Greensburg Street/E Pittsburgh Street.
- Westmoreland Crossroads Plaza
The WCTA Park & Ride spaces are located directly in front of the China King restaurant. We do not pull into the Plaza, the stop is at the light.
Park and Ride users are reminded to please park within the perimeter of the lot and not block in other vehicles.
